July is the month of the Blood Calendar. It is this month that we focus on the calendar itself.. in particular, the sacred Aztec calendar of the sun. We have taken the calendar and fused the ideas of the giver of life (the sun) and the blood that runs through all our veins. You can not live without the sun nor without blood. Both are one and the same, being cyclical in nature and just as vital to life. And sometimes blood was shed to appease the sun.
